Well, who doesn’t? But Turkish people seem to, according to the latest Durex Global Sex Survey that is, like it a lot and, more precisely, with a lot of different partners. This is quite interesting, considering that many Turks are very religious and very conservative in this regard.
According to the survey, Turks have the most sexual partners of any people in the world: 14. Research further shows that the more developed a country, the richer, the more sex partners its individual citizens have. Normally that is. Turkey is in this regard different from all other countries.
There is, however, a major ‘but’ involved: this was not a scientific research and we do not know where the participants came from exactly. For instance, it is quite likely that most respondees live in Istanbul or other major cities. People in the rural areas of Turkey, however, are poorer and more conservative. These people are likely not to have participated in the survey. As a result, the survey could be skewed. Furthermore, it is also quite likely that many conservative Turks would simpy never participate in a survey like this since they consider it to be none of anybody’s business.
But an interesting outcome nonetheless of course.
