Oldcodger

Good gracious... "godless agenda for America"? Whatever are you smoking?

Michael

The Boston Globe had an editorial last weekend that in my opinion made some sense on this subject. My post on it is here: http://blog.thedemocraticdaily.com/?p=5974

Its subliminal approach to the question of amnesty. Removing 12 million voters from the democratic rolls would be disasterous.

Removing 10 to 50 more million in the next 20 years would be even more disasterous.

I for one am at a loss as to why any single Republican would be supporting this bill at all.

Its a death knell to the republican party or at least to conservative votes.

I understand why the liberals here favor it. It is the beginning of the end for opposition to their godless agenda for America but with the help of Republicans? That just makes no sense.

If they want to live here and believe in the Constitution of the United States and share those fundamental values, then they are basically as American as apple pie.

And that's the difference between America and almost every other country.

Actually, Puerto Rican's are Americans. Sort of. But definitely more so than illegals from Mexico.
